Public Health & Human Service Advisory Committee
The St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services Advisory Committee seeks input about the Public Health and Human Services delivery system. The Committee makes recommendations to the St. Louis County Board of Commissioners and to the St. Louis County Public Health and Human Services Department relative to the public health and human service needs of St. Louis County communities. An annual report of Committee activities is given to the County Board of Commissioners at the end of each calendar year.

Recommend. Review, evaluate, and make recommendations on the outcomes and expenditures for service covered by the Children and Community Services Act (CCSA plan) and the Community Health Services Plan (CHS plan).

Report. Compile, analyze, and report on the results of the various citizen input activities.

Research. Study and evaluate programs of the Public Health and Human Services Department in relation to community needs and trends; and accept for special study and evaluation public health and human service related issues and matters requested by the County Board of Commissioners.

Serve as public health and human service advocates by developing each community's understanding of Public Health and Human Services Department programs and activities.

Advise the department about community needs for the purpose of program and activity planning.

Recommend to the County Board of Commissioners new programs or activities which would benefit the people of St. Louis County.

The Public Health and Human Services Advisory Committee has 20 members. Two committee members are County Commissioners. The remaining 18 members are St. Louis County citizens and are appointed by the Board of Commissioners.
The currently serving Commissioners are: Chris Dahlberg and Frank Jewell.
The currently serving St. Louis County citizens are: Sue Bratulich, Dana Cook, Mary Feroni, Shari Flesness, Kathy Heltzer, Pat Ives, Anthony Kuznik, Rocci Lucarelli, Cindy Lustig, Kimberly McKay, Sarah Priest, Beth Ronning, Chad Scott, Rudy Semeja, Debra Smith, Jim Taray, Tina Welsh, and Mary Zupancich.
