St. Louis County - Iron Range Youth in Action
Iron Range Youth in Action (IRYA) is a youth organization in Northern Minnesota administered by the St. Louis County Extension Office in Virginia. This program encourages youth of high school age to participate in service learning and community projects. IRYA proects and activities were designed to develop the kind of character responsibility and public service values leading to civic engagement for a lifetime.

St Louis County - The Incredible Exchange
The Incredible Exchange is a positive youth development program administered by the St. Louis County Extension Office in Duluth. This program is designed to encourage youth participation in the community by matching willing young adults ages 12-15 with sites seeking volunteers. Youth participants then "exchange" their volunteer service for a recreational or cultural activity of their choosing. St. Louis County's Camp Esquagama was founded as a 4-H Camp in 1935. It is located near Biwabik and offers summer camp opportunities for all kids ages 6 to 15 as well as a women's retreats. Check their website for the upcoming 2012 schedule.
