Benefits Through The U.S. Department Of Veterans Affairs

Your benefits through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs are huge and at times can become overwhelming when doing the application on your own.  That's why the St. Louis County Veterans Service Office is here...to assist you in the application process.  For more information on our office click here.

As mentioned above the benefits availabe are vast and include (this list is not all inclusive): compensation for service related disabilities, non-service connected pensions for veterans (wartime service or over the age of 65), various life insurance programs, eligibility certificate for home loan guarantee, aid and attendance benefits for veterans in nursing homes, homeless veterans and medical treatment through the VA Medical Facilities.

We act as as a liaison with various service organizations and other related agencies that assume an advocate role on behalf of veterans.  Advice and guidance is given to applicants and recipients concerning federal and state regulations governing benefits.
